One of things I love most about spring and summer is dining al fresco aka eating outside (I’m cultured sometimes you see ). Seriously, I can’t enough of it. Everywhere I go the first thing I ask is “can I sit outside?”. Since I’m a huge foodie to begin with and going to eat is one of my favorite things, getting to sit outside in the fresh air during it makes my experience 10x better. All I need is a good meal and a 75-degree day. What can I say? I’m easy to please.
The other day on a pretty afternoon, a few friends and I headed down to the local park to hangout and have a little picnic. Honestly, things like this are *SO* under-rated. I love that little day dates like this can be as planned or impromptu as you’d like! While I love having a big, fun BBQ party, I love sitting in the city park with milkshakes just as much. I’m telling you, next time you’re bored, try this out!
All you need is:
- A good meal (the most important part if we’re being real!)
- A picnic blanket
- Sunglasses (for the inevitable hot day)
- Your friends or fam!
